Three films nominated for the documentary BAFTA

We’re thrilled to announce that we have three films nominated in the Documentary category at this year’s BAFTAs.

Nail-biting thriller Free Solo (directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin), uplifting doc RBG (directed by Betsy West & Julie Cohen) and the jaw-dropping Three Identical Strangers (directed by Tim Wardle) are the newly nominated Dogwoof titles. They join WW1 feature They Shall Not Grow Old (directed by Peter Jackson) and fashion flick McQueen (directed by Ian Bonhôte) in this year’s race.

The nominations were announced on Wednesday morning by I, Daniel Blake actress and playwright Hayley Squires and 2014 BAFTA rising star Will Poulter at BAFTA’s London HQ.

The Awards take place on Sunday 10 February at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

A huge congratulations to the filmmakers and their teams. You can still see all of our nominated films on the big screen. Find the trailer for each of our nominations below.
