Exec producer Shia LaBeouf, director Alma Har'el with stars of the film ahead of the premiere
Friday night marked the world premiere of Alma Har'el's new film LoveTrue. There was a huge amount of buzz about the film before the festival even began with many publications naming it a 'must-see'. The screening was followed by a very special Q&A with Alma and exec producer Shia LaBeouf. Also present were the stars of the film who joined them on stage. ABOUT LOVETRUE
Alma Har’el, director and cinematographer of Bombay Beach, returns to Tribeca with LoveTrue, a genre-bending documentary, demystifying the fantasy of true love. From an Alaskan strip club, a Hawaiian island, and the streets of NYC—revelatory stories emerge about a deeper definition of love. Set to a hypnotizing score by Flying Lotus and executive produced by Shia LaBeouf.
Burden world premiere
Burden was chosen as one the 'must-see' films at Tribeca by Rolling Stone, Time Out and many more before the festival even started. Directors Tim Marinnan and Richard Dewey were present for a Q&A following the screening. They discussed the making of the film and how they handled Chris' passing during production.
