New film - Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures

Announcing a second title premiering at Sundance Film Festival 2016 - Mapplethorpe: look at the Pictures!  MAPPLETHORPE: LOOK AT THE PICTURES is the latest film from Emmy Award winning directors Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato (Inside Deep Throat, Party Monster, The Eyes of Tammy Faye) and follows the dramatic life of famed photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. The film will have it's international premiere at the 66th Berlinale in the Panorama section and will be released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland in Spring of 2016.

The only thing more outrageous than Robert Mapplethorpe's photographs was his life. Intimate revelations from family, friends and lovers are topped only by Mapplethorpe's candor in a series of rediscovered interviews. This is the portrait of an artist who turned contemporary photography into a fine art, with a vision that createda culture war, still raging to this day.

Earlier this week we announced that we will be releasing Sundance title Richard Linklater - Dream is Destiny in Spring of this year. Sundance Film Festival begins this week and we may have some more films to announce soon.
