The Oscar nominations were announced today and Dogwoof is extremely proud that Cartel Land and The Look of Silence are nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar! Dogwoof wants to congratulate the filmmakers and fingers crossed for 28 February.

Cartel Land was released in the UK in September to critical acclaim and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Documentary last week.
The Look of Silence
We released The Look of Silence in June, this marks the second Best Documentary Feature nomination for director Joshua Oppenheimer, who was also nominated for his 2013 film The Act of Killing.
