Meet the women of Kokomo City!

The Sundance and Berlin-winning film Kokomo City arrives to cinemas from 4 August. The frank and wildly entertaining debut from Grammy-nominated music producer D. Smith spotlights the lives of four Black transgender women offering a candid glimpse into the lives and realities of these women's lives. Accessible for any audience, unfiltered, unabashed, and unapologetic, Smith and her subjects smash the trendy standard for authenticity, offering a refreshing rawness and vulnerability unconcerned with purity and politeness.

Kokomo City is in UK cinemas from 4 August and on demand from 18 August.

Dominique Silver is a model and actress starring in the TV ‘Pose’.

Daniella is a lifelong advocate for lgbtqia+ youth. In 2020, she launched Daniella's Guestbook (daniellasguestbook), a site and online campaign that spotlights bipoc creators for brands and leaders in advertising and media, with the goal of unlocking employment opportunities for the creators.

Koko Da Doll whose non-performance name was Rasheeda Williams was an aspiring musician releasing her first single ‘Trick’ in 2020. Sadly was fatally shot April 18 in Atlanta.
