CATCHING FIRE: THE STORY OF ANITA PALLENBERG

A FILM BY ALEXIS BLOOM & SVETLANA ZILL

We're delighted to be releasing Catching Fire: The Story of Anita Pallenberg in the UK & IRE cinemas from 17 May and on demand from 27 May. This intimate portrait reveals the story of an unapologetic rock ‘n’ roller, actress, muse and mother who rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s.

Drawing on words from her unpublished memoir, narrated by Scarlett Johansson, Anita draws us deep into her world, with the help of a supporting cast that includes her family - Marlon, Angela, and their father Keith Richards. Never-seen-before home movies and family photographs explore life with the Rolling Stones, in a bittersweet tale of both triumph and heartbreak. From Barbarella to the Swiss Alps, and the Lower East Side of New York, Anita Pallenberg was a woman ahead of her time.

FOOD INC, 2.

A FILM BY ROBERT KENNER & MELISSA ROBLEDO

In Food, Inc. 2, the sequel to the 2008 Oscar®-nominated and Emmy®-award winning documentary, Food, Inc., filmmakers Robert Kenner and Melissa Robledo reunite with investigative authors Michael Pollan and Eric Schlosser to take a fresh look at our efficient yet vulnerable food system. Since the first film, multinational corporations have tightened their stronghold on the U.S. government.

The system at large has robbed workers of a fair living wage, and profit focused corporations are proliferating a chemically formulated international health crisis by focusing on growing the market for ultra-processed foods. The film centers around innovative farmers, future-thinking food producers, workers’ rights activists and prominent legislators such as U.S Senators Cory Booker and Jon Tester, who are facing these companies head-on to inspire change and build a healthier, more sustainable future.

In cinemas and on demand from 7 June.

ETERNAL YOU

A FILM BY HANS BLOCK & MORITZ RIESEWIECK

If you had the chance to talk to a loved one who died, would you take it? Eternal You delves into the world of startups using AI to create avatars of the deceased. A film about what might become one of the greatest human experiments of our time.

Eternal You examines the story of people who live on as digital replicants in the pockets of their loved ones. With the help of artificial intelligence and Big Data, a dream comes true that is as old as mankind itself: eternal life. It’s probably the biggest business idea of the digital age. Following tech start-ups which use a wealth of data to develop “digital doppelgangers,” which promise to immortalize people on earth. The film raises a number of questions, such as: Can a digital entity compensate for the loss of a loved one? How will human memory be affected? And do we not have the right to forget?

In cinemas from 28 June.
