The Work picks up two awards at the Griersons

We’re pleased to announce two wins for The Work at this year’s Grierson Awards. Recognising integrity and overall excellence in documentary film, the awards are an homage to the legendary father of documentary, John Grierson. The awards were presented on 5 November by comedian Susan Calman at the Southbank Centre.

The Work picked up the Channel 4 Best Single Documentary - International Award, beating fellow Dogwoof title City of Ghosts. The Work also took home the BFI Doc Society Fund Best Cinema Documentary Award. Director Jarius McLeary, co-director Gethin Aldous and producers Eon McLeary and Miles McLeary were in town to pick up the awards in person and thank all involved.
