Michael Moore arrived in UK last week for the release of his new film Where to Invade Next. On Thursday we held a press conference hosted by Dave Calhoun with Michael Moore and producers Carl Deal and Rod Birleson in London.

Then on Friday we made way for Sheffield Doc/fest for the opening night screening at City Hall which was also broadcast to 125 cinemas across the UK!

Due to technical problems (fire alarm) there were two Q&As; one backstage for the 125 cinemas and one on stage for the 2000 people in City Hall. The event was hosted by Guardian Journalist Owen Jones, who took questions from the audience in Sheffield City Hall and fans on twitter in the 125 other cinemas using #AskMoore. Have a look at photos from the event in the slideshow below: (photos by David Chang and John Erik Taylor)

There was second screening on Sunday afternoon and Michael Moore stopped in for a surprise Q&A to the delight of the audience. It had to be quick because he then had to head to the Crucible theatre for a Channel 4 Interview where he talked about his beginnings in film to Academy Awards and now Where to Invade Next.

After Doc/Fest, they headed to Ireland with the film. The film continues in UK and Irish cinemas now, find your closest screening below:
