Emmy Awards win for Cartel Land and Jim

The Creative Art Emmy Awards took place last night and two Dogwoof films took home awards in three categories!

Cartel Land took home awards in three categories: Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking, Outstanding Cinematography for a Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Nonfiction Program. Earlier this year Cartel Land was nominated for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards and BAFTA Awards.

Jim: The James Foley Story took home the Emmy Award for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking. This was a shared honour between Cartel Land and Jim: The James Foley Story. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2016 and took home the Audience Award after captivating crowds. The film will be available on DVD on 3 October and is now available on demand.
